Tandem Skydiving Itinerary

Please note the following important information 

• This is an outdoor activity from a private airfield with plenty of space to socially distance.  
• Additional procedures and protocols are in place.  
• Anyone over 60 years of age with any underlying health issues is discouraged from coming to the drop zone at this time.  
• Masks to be worn according to government guidelines.  
• Social distancing guidelines to be observed.  
• Please keep spectators to a minimum.  Prior to your skydive we will send you a link to our pre-screening form with details of COVID-19 Protocols.  
• Wear sporty clothing and training shoes with long pants, a long sleeve top and gloves.   No bare arms or legs - for your comfort and safety.  
• Bring your own face masks as well as buffs / neck warmers - needed to keep masks in place during freefall.  
• Bring your own drinks and snacks - there will be no drinks or Scooby snacks available from the drop zone for the time being.

• 7-Days-a-Week - weather permitting Daily morning & afternoon shuttles from Cape Town. 
• General Weight Limit - 100 kgs. 
• Under 18 - parental consent required and at our discretion. 
• Visa & MasterCard accepted.

Prices

• Tandem SkyDive = R 2 850 pp  
• HandiCam Video & Photos = R 800 pp additional 
• Camera Flyer Video & Photos = R 1 140 pp additional (subject to availability)  
• Pick-up & Drop-Off (Cape Town area) = R 500 pp (R 400 pp if more than 3 persons from the same address) 

Self Drive / Own Transport Packages 

• Tandem SkyDive = R 2 850 
• Tandem SkyDive + HandiCam Video and Photos = R 3 650 
• Tandem SkyDive + Outside Camera Flyer Video and Photos = R 3 990 (subject to availability)  

With Transport Packages (from Cape Town area) 

• Tandem Skydive + Transport = R 3 350  
• Tandem Skydive + Handicap Video and Photos + Transport = R 4 150 
• Tandem Skydive + Outside Camera Flyer Video and Photos + Transport = R 4 490 (subject to availability).

The different camera options will be explained when you arrive - you can let us know which option you want before you jump. 

Restrictions 

• All participants must be sober, willing, and participate voluntarily.
• Minimum age is 12 years old (with signed parental consent). 
• Minimum height is 1,2 m.
• Minimum weight is 35 kgs.
• Maximum weight is 100 kgs (heavier persons may be considered).
• There is no maximum age. 
• Medical conditions, disabilities or injuries which could affect your safety should be discussed in advance with your doctor.  The outcome of that discussion is for your own interpretation = we accept that you are medically fit when you arrive to jump. 
• We reserve the right to refuse anyone at our discretion for any safety considerations. 
• Anyone who is, or appears to be, under the influence of any drugs or alcohol will be turned away.

Canteen

• Bring your own drinks and snacks - there will be no drinks or Scooby snacks available from the drop zone for the time being.

What Next 

• We will confirm the jump date and time by reply to your enquiry.
• If transport is requested a representative will make contact to confirm pick-up location and time.
• Please make contact the day before, and before heading out on the day, to double check on conditions and timing.
• Dress appropriately - sporty clothing… warm top, warm pants & lace-up shoes…  Arrive 30 minutes before the allocated jump time.
• Allow a couple of hours.

Payment, Changes, Cancellations

• Full payment / balance of payment can be made on arrival - we accept Cash, Visa and MasterCard 
• Please provide your guests with a voucher detailing any deposit or payment made.
• We will make every effort to make all bookings happen - Mother Nature is in control of the weather - a little flexibility is sometimes required.
• Should you need to cancel or change your bookings please give us as much notice as possible.

Legal Bits and Pieces  

Please note that everyone is required to complete and sign a Membership Application, Medical Questionnaire, Declaration, Indemnity Waiver and Release Form, Exclusion of Liability and Voluntary Assumption of Risk Agreement before participating.

Disclaimer 

• We reserve the right to deny participation to any individual at our sole discretion. 
• Anyone who is, or appears to be, under the influence alcohol, drugs or ill health may be turned away at our sole discretion. 
•  Jump dates and times are subject to change. 
• Exit altitudes and free fall times cannot be guaranteed.

Operations

• Skydiving and Parachuting operations are conducted in accordance with the Parachute Association of South Africa (PASA) Manual of Procedures (MOPs) and part 105 of the South African Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Regulation, and as per terms and conditions laid down by Mother City SkyDiving.
• Any medical conditions, disabilities, injuries or medication which could affect your safety should be discussed in advance with your doctor.  The outcome of that discussion is for your own interpretation - we accept that you are medically fit when you arrive to jump.
• Note - we do not allow own cameras on the skydive as it poses a safety risk.

Protection of Private Information (PoPI),

Participants are deemed to give their voluntary, specific and informed consent that Mother City Skydiving may (in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act, Act 4 of 2013‘POPI’):

• Process personal information (‘PI’) i.e. collect, store & disseminate; 
• Share PI with third parties who provide services and products; 
• Approach you with business opportunities, promotional events, special offers and sales by direct marketing or otherwise; 

The parties agree that: 

• Consent may be withdrawn or qualified in writing by you; 
• You may at any time in writing amend your personal information or request Mother City Skydiving to delete the personal information;
• You may pre-emptively block any communication; 
• You may request any direct marketing to be stopped; 
• Any communication must only relate to goods to services similar to what you bought from or was supplied by Mother City Skydiving;
